Allergies

Allergies result from an increased immune response to a stimulant that comes into contact with or enters your body. Your body will naturally direct immune cells and proteins to combat a harmful pathogen in the body. However, sometimes a hyperactive response occurs to otherwise harmless substances like pet dander or pollen. Your nervous system orchestrates these immune responses, and some patients have found that reducing stress on their nervous system by seeing a chiropractor helps their allergy symptoms.
